Scooters in Cracow

Cracow does not have clear regulations specifying the entitlements for people on scooters, as this is a relatively new mode of transport. People driving a scooters are considered pedestrians by law and they should walk on the pavements without having to wear a helmet.

For this reason, at the end of last year, councilors put forward ideas to introduce prohibition to leave vehicles in specially designated places, to introduce speed restrictions or a ban on entering certain areas.

How to book scooters in Cracow?

There are currently four operators in Cracow Hive, Hulaj, Lime and Blinkee. Hulaj is the cheapest solution.

Scooters, regardless of the operator, can be rented using the application. We can see scooters available in a given area on the map in the application and the battery charge level. After scanning the QR code, we can set out on the path.

Scooters can be found mainly in the city center and Kazimierz district. It is hard to find them in Stare Podgórze district.
