Breakfast is an exceptionally important meal, especially for a tourist. Today, we would like to recommend you places where we frequently drop by to eat something. In those spots, prices are more than affordable and the choice of meals is stunning. Typically, breakfasts are served up to 12 A.M., but the joints we would like to present you today offer them all day round. Even the biggest sleepyhead will be able to eat a refreshing meal there.
1. Kolanko No 6
A restaurant located in the Kazimierz District, which is famous for its delicious and relatively inexpensive breakfasts. The interior is very atmospheric and during the summer season, guests are also granted the access to a terrace.
Breakfasts are served in the form of buffet. Prices oscillate around 4,5 E/person. Guests can eat and drink as much as they want for the said amount of money. They can choose from cooked meats, various types of cheese, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, pates, jams (especially the red onion one is worth mentioning), tart, tea, coffee, and sweet desserts. All the meals are drinks are refilled over time. Sometimes the currently available meals are replaced with some new ones. One will find it difficult to try every food item offered by the owners. After such a breakfast, it is highly suggested to go for a long walk.
The only disadvantage of the said restaurant is the fact that it is typically crowded, especially between 9 and 11 A.M.

2. Lajkonik
It is a local coffeehouse chain. While being here, you can drink a cup of delicious tea, coffee, or cocoa. All drinks are served in three sizes. What is more, you can also eat appetizing cold and hot sandwiches and salads here. There is also the possibility of giving buns and yeast-cakes a try (approx. 1,5 E). Visitors can also purchase baked goods made out of sourdough.
It is also highly recommended to take advantage of numerous promotions and rebates. For example – a selected size drink and a chosen sandwich are only 3 E total while combined. A drink + a cake are 2,5 E. One can also pay 2,5 E to receive a fresh salad.
The interior of the coffeehouse in question is very cozy. There are toilets inside. One should try to choose seats spots next to one of the window, as then there is the possibility of admiring the view.
It is a perfect place if you want to eat or drink something quickly.

The joint may seem underwhelming from the outside, but it is in fact a very atmospheric spot located in the Kazimiesz District. It is famous for a wide selection of sandwiches with various fillings. The bread for the sandwich is chosen by the client himself or herself, out of 7 available varieties. There are both savory and sweet variations to be given a try. What is more, a client can order salads and tapas as well. Curious tourists may choose to ask the waiter for a cup of freshly squeezed juice.

This seemingly ordinary place is known by the locals due to the myriad of egg-based meals offered by its owners. Every meal can be ordered for a reasonable price of 1-2,5 E.

Next on our list is a very pleasant place with cheerful staff. While being there, you can order a delicious coffee (with soy milk, for example). Every variation is stunning and has a highly unusual name;) When it comes to typically breakfast-related meals, there are sandwiches, omelets, pancakes, and numerous varieties of yoghurt.

A very pleasant, minimalistic interior with large windows. Except from weekends, the spot is not crowded at all. Every client will surely find a comfortable place for himself or herself. The variety of breakfast meals is simply breathtaking. To name only a few, one can choose between muesli, pancakes, scrambled eggs, toasts, omelets, and vegetarian treats. We would also like to recommend freshly squeezed juices and delicious cocktails. The price of a breakfast set oscillates between 3 and 4,2 E.

You will surely not leave this place hungry. You may also opt for one of coffee varieties prepared in a unique manner. Inside, one will surely experience the warmth of the interior and casual atmosphere.

One may also order omelets, toasts, or granola. There are also hot and cold sandwiches in the menu. The wide variety of tea and coffee cannot be neglected as well.

One can order scrambled eggs, as well as poached eggs, muesli, omelets, Irish breakfast, pancakes, and Panini. You will surely not leave this place hungry.
