Smoking

Smoking is forbidden in public places.

You cannot smoke in hospitals, shops, banks, postal offices, bus stops, as well as in public transportation. What is more, smoking is also frowned upon in bars and restaurants. Therefore, to do so, you should go outside.

In some pubs, there are separate halls for smokers. Typically, they are labeled with the symbol of a cigarette or a proper notification. If there are no indications in a given pub, do not smoke there.

Smoking in prohibited areas is fined. The fine in question amounts to 500 PLN.
