Tourist information in Cracow – where to find?

In Cracow, there are numerous tourist information points.

We would like to indicate that some of them are run by the city council (InfoKrakow), whereas others are owned by private companies. If you happen to visit a tourist information spot which also provides services for tourists, such as transportation to Wieliczka or Bochnia, the offered help may not be objective.

While asking how to reach Wieliczka, you will be offered transportation services offered by a given company, even though there are the possibilities of reaching the place by taking advantages of means of public transportation.

Tourist information spots are labeled with the „IT” letters on a blue background (these are rather privates) or named InfoKrakow (these run by the city council). Opening hours are: 09:00 AM- 07:00 PM.

They are located within the Old Town and Kazimierz District. In each of such spots, you will be able to communicate in English. While being there, you will be also granted the possibility of taking toll-free maps or brief guides with you.

The employees will also inform you about the ways of reaching given areas, spots, and tourist attractions by means of local means of transportation.
